Daylighting Performance Design for Art Studios of Old Factory Renovation Buildings in Subtropical Regions

نویسندگان

چکیده

In the subtropical zone of China, a large number old factory buildings rich in industrial historical and cultural value have been transformed into art studios. existing research on building renovation, there are still problems such as insufficient lighting, low uniformity, ignoring effect glare lighting environment after transformation. To fill this gap, paper provides daylighting design strategy for these zones to ensure that studios can offer an excellent indoor environment. Through control variable method, window-to-wall ratio, form external windows, visible light transmittance glass set with quantitative values, meets requirements international general standards is obtained step by through simulation. The daylight factor, autonomy, dynamic probability used process measure whether CIBSE Lighting Guide results show average coefficient be increased from 1.29 6.18, minimum 0.4 4.4 enlarging windowed wall ratio 1:30 1:3, using combination method horizontal window, skylight recommended analysis results, selecting veneer 88% transmittance. This allows better uniform inside reduces glare. conclusion support performance future.

The Performance of Daylighting with Shading Device in Architecture Design

This paper presents the relationship between daylighting performance and shading device design in the perimeter area of buildings. In the area of tropic and sub-tropic, designers always face with the contradiction between solar heat gain and daylighting using. Factors such as different type of shading device, material reflectance, fenestration design, opening ratio, and daylight distribution wi...
